Manuel Grippa

Class 1982. Once he discovered his father’s collection of vinyls, he started to define his musical taste.
From bands like The Clash and Joy Division among others, he started to build his own collection of musical items.
At 17 the electronic sounds from London crushed him and genius like Aphex Twin or Autechre inspired him to look into the underground for new solutions. He spent some years into the warehouse party scene where he developed the feeling of tribalism into techno and hard techno music, during this period his musical taste was growing with more and new elements. Ambient, noise and experimental stuff became part of his contemporary culture represented into his own vinyl mixes. Music became a more important side when Manuel earned a Bachelor’s degree as Sound Engineer. He lives and works in Berlin where he shapes musical creations. His dj sets are a chasing journey through experimentation, rhythmic sequences, noise, ambient structures and ancestral atmospheres.
